Roof Options : Canopies and Purlin Extensions
Canopies & purlin extensions offer great protection from the elements. They are a functional as well as an aesthetically-pleasing option for your steel building.
A canopy is a projecting roof system that is supported and restrained at one end only. These roof overhangs can run the building length, width, or from column to column. Configurations, based on code requirements, can be from a
1 to 15 foot overhang with or without soffit. They can be located at or below the roof line.
A purlin extension is the projection of the roof beyond the plane of the endwall. These provide additional roof coverage for area at the gable endwalls. The extension is available up to 10 feet with or without soffit. They can be located at the roof line.
