What are steel buildings?

All Heritage building frames are made of steel, also known as I-beam, built-up or hot-rolled. Steel buildings can span a large space. If you’re looking for a larger building or riding arena, our steel buildings are the answer to your search. We accommodate multiple framing options. Our rigid frame buildings are habitable and have been designed for churches, retail stores and more. We can design to your specific codes and loads in your area. Our steel buildings are cost efficient over the life of the building and require minimal maintenance. What are tubular buildings?

You see them in the parking lots of big box home improvement stores…tubular buildings. Tubular buildings are made of metal tubing for the frame and covered in steel panels that are normally a lighter gauge. These structures often do not span wider than 30 ft. You can often find a disclaimer for these structures in the paperwork or on the website that indicates that they are not designed or intended for human habitation. Tubular buildings are also usually not designed for specific codes and loads for your area. If you are looking for a cheap, small shed or carport then sure, a tubular building may be what is right for you. But if you are searching for a workshop, barn, garage, mini storage, RV storage or any other building that is larger than 500 sq. ft., then a steel building is the way to go.
